The Garden Restaurant
National Curry Week – First recorded in 1590-1600, curry is from the Tamil word karri sauce. The rhyming slang has many claimants but was probably a play on Ruby Florence Murray who had a string of hits in the 50s, unlike Edith Piaf who had a string of onions. We’ve been keeping it spicy all week, enjoying a different curry for lunch each day!
Yoga – Through the week we had our usual Yoga sessions, including Wake Up With Yoga and Beginners Hatha Yoga. Yoga is a wonderful work out for the body, helping to tone up muscles and increase flexibility, whilst calming the mind and de-stressing completely.
French for Beginners – Want to learn French in an easy, fun and convenient way? Well now you can, right here on the Park – Mondays at 5.30pm. Classes are open to all, family and friends not working on the park are also welcome.
