These boots were made for walking...
In a bid to improve productivity, walkways around Birchwood Park’s beautifully landscaped environment provide a great excuse for that all important break from your desk. We all find it a bit tricky to fit exercise into our hectic lifestyles so why not take a casual stroll round the lake, get involved in organised lunchtime walks or we’ll even pair you up with a walking buddy if you’d prefer to walk with a group.
The Wheels on the Bus
Birchwood Park, Warrington provides a free shuttle bus service to integrate with other local transport links to and from the train station in support of commuter travel. The shuttle also takes passengers to Birchwood Shopping Centre during lunch time.
On your Bike!
Cycling to and around Birchwood Park, Warrington is a great alternative to the car and to help make it a viable option for Birchwood Park employees we are continually investing in our facilities for cyclists.
Our ‘Borrow a Bike’ FREE cycle hire scheme means you don’t have to spend a penny to keep fit! And our FREE lunchtime cycle rides are a great way to socialise whilst taking in the surroundings.
Share and Share Alike
Birchwood Park’s Travel Share scheme includes lots of options to help share your commute to work!
Share your car journey, your cycle ride, your walk, your run, or your taxi ride!
The most popular mode of sharing is often by car – but even simply owning a car is expensive, costing about £3000 a year. By sharing journeys you’ll cut down your mileage and with it your running costs and depreciation.
Bike Buddies, Walk Buddies, and Running Buddies are designed to enable new and experienced cyclists/walkers/runners to enjoy the health and financial benefits of using a green way to travel to work.
