We’re pleased to announce that London-based film, TV and commercial grip specialist Alpha Grip (UK) Limited has been acquired by Sunbelt Rentals.
The acquisition of Alpha Grip further strengthens Sunbelt Rentals’ proposition in the British film and television industry after our most recent acquisition of Movietech, PKE Lighting and Media Access Solutions.
Operating on a national level, Alpha Grip provides services to many of the UK’s leading film and television shows and is well positioned for growth within the UK Film market.
Commenting on the acquisition, Andy Wright, Sunbelt Rentals UK CEO, explained: “Our continued expansion into the UK film and television market is made stronger by our recent acquisition of grip specialist, Alpha Grip. Alpha Grip, MAS, PKE and Movietech will work closely with WFW, a leading film and television production rental specialist business, a Sunbelt Rentals company.

The strategic acquisition of Alpha Grip further solidifies the expansion strategy of Sunbelt Rentals in the UK and within the international film and television industry.
