Collaboration at the Heart of the Park

There was a real buzz around Birchwood Park as the nuclear community came together for this year’s Party in the Park.

Hosted by the Northern Nuclear Alliance, Nuclear Industry Association, Nuclear Institute and the National Skills Academy for Nuclear (NSAN), the summer social welcomed professionals from across the sector for an evening of informal networking, great conversation and celebration.

With the sun shining, guests enjoyed BBQ favourites, ice cream, music and the chance to catch up with familiar faces while making new connections in a relaxed setting.

As Birchwood Park celebrates 80 years at the heart of the UK’s nuclear story, the event was a fitting reminder that collaboration has always been central to the Park’s success. From the earliest days of the UK’s nuclear programme to today’s thriving community of businesses, people continue to come together here to share ideas, strengthen relationships and shape the future of the industry.
