Our Story

Since our inception in 1998, our aim has always been to craft a “community beyond the desk” – driven by the philosophy that happiness and productivity go hand in hand.

Birchwood Park was designed to be more than just your average business park, it was to be a place where both businesses and the people that define them could thrive, evolve and succeed.

In order to deliver a business park like no other in the North West, the quality and appeal of our facilities, amenities and communal areas were just as important to us as our hi-spec office and industrial spaces.

Over the years, we have continued to grow, both in size and scope – developing new initiatives and bringing even more excellent amenities into the fold to create a working environment unparalleled in the region.

We’ve cultivated a sociable and collaborative community culture where companies come together on a daily basis – whether for B2B opportunities, to take part in a charitable event, or just share a pizza.

Today, we’re home to over 6,000 people and more than 160 companies – from start-ups to blue chip organisations – including some of the most prominent companies in the Nuclear Sector, in which we’re championed as a centre of excellence.
