The award-winning Frog & Bucket Comedy Club Manchester is back at the EngineRooms, Birchwood Park, Warrington.

The best value comedy night in the country. 4 comedians from the national and international comedy circuit. Whether you’re a couple or a group, Friday Night Comedy is a great way to start the weekend.

Our doors will open at 7pm, giving you plenty of time to have a drink or some artisan street food in our Lounge Bar.

Show starts at around 8pm finishing at approximately 10.30pm.

Pete Otway

Pete Otway is a multi-award nominated comedian, presenter and former dairy farmer. His razor-sharp wit and hilarious tales have taken him across the world, whilst making him in demand at some of the biggest comedy clubs and festivals in the UK.

A former BBC New Comedy Award finalist, Pete’s first solo show was nominated for Best Debut at the Leicester Comedy Festival and played to sell out audiences at the Edinburgh Fringe.

Often heard across various radio stations, either on the Hits Network on Rock FM or Radio City, and more recently on XS Manchester, Pete has also hosted shows on BBC Radio 4 Extra and performed stand-up on BBC Radio 2 and Radio 4.

An experienced and likeable host, Pete has fronted three series of a YouTube comedy travelogue with Krusevac Geto, two of Serbia’s biggest comedy stars.

Ignacio Lopez

Ignacio Lopez has been wowing audiences internationally with his individual style and high gag-rate since 2010. A crazy mixture of Welsh & Spanish Ignacio has become one of the most unique voices on the UK circuit.

A frequent headliner and MC in top comedy clubs all over the UK, Ignacio also performs regularly at corporate functions, private shows, military gigs, sports dinners, art centres and festivals. Ignacio soon gained TV recognition in 2011 when he appeared on ITV’s ‘Show Me The Funny‘, and since then he has gone on to become a regular face on BBC Wales Sesh, appear on Live At The Apollo, Radio 4’s The Now Show, Celebrity Pointless, Breaking The News & The Good The Bad & The Unexpected his online content has racked up nearly 40 million views across all social media channels.

This has contributed to sell out shows at comedy festivals in Edinburgh, Brighton, Cardiff, Reading & Neath. In 2016 Ignacio produced and hosted a comedy series for Made Television called ‘Comedy Sheep Stand-Up’, which was the first show to be broadcast across the UK network in a primetime weekend slot.

Not only has Ignacio done all that but he has also provided tour support for Tom Stade performed all over the globe including in Spain, Germany, Norway, Greece, Turkey & Malta and has also racked up an impressive six solo hour shows

Aaron Wood

Aaron Wood is a comedian from Greater Manchester and has hit the ground running since starting out. With a sold out run at the Edinburgh Fringe 2023 & tour support for Tom Stade, Carl Hutchinson, Danny McLoughlin, Eshaan Akbar, Ignacio Lopez, Hayley Ellis and a runner up in the Chester New Comedian Of The Year competition he is progressing at a rapid rate.

Host of the Spread Negativity podcast with over 100 million views online, he’s described as ‘talent way beyond his time on the circuit’ for his ability to combine natural stage presence with original, relatable material. His laid back, affable nature has helped him become a very exciting act with a bright future.

Sally-Anne

Sally-Anne is an award-winning comedian (Best UK Compere 2019 and Holsten Pils ‘Fans of Comedy’ award) and a sought-after corporate performer (with clients including Virgin Media and Alcatel). She is also a regular compere at Glastonbury Festival. ​

She has proven her writing talents with numerous Edinburgh Fringe shows and can display a depth of material that marks out the best comic talent. She has performed all over the world and has provided tour support for Sarah Millican, Russell Howard, Russell Kane, Hal Cruttenden and Suzi Ruffell. ​

An accomplished breakfast radio presenter (Star 107.2), with TV credits (‘The Blame Game’ BBC) and radio panel show credits (‘Elephant in The Room’ BBC Radio 4), as well as TV warm-up (‘Deal or No Deal’ Channel 4). ​

She co-hosts a podcast called Spit or Swallow, along with Lou Conran. Together they incorporate their love of wine, celebrity guests and drunk stories.
