Birchwood Park Occupier David Wilson Homes North West Take on 350-Mile Charity Challenge at the Tipi
News 10 June 2026
Colleagues from David Wilson Homes North West, based at Birchwood Park, are taking on an ambitious fundraising challenge to support two deserving charities this week.
The team is virtually rowing the distance from Land’s End to Dover, a remarkable 350-mile (560km) journey, as part of their Miles That Matter Challenge. Their goal is to raise £12,000 for The Oasis Centre in Gorton and St Rocco’s Hospice in Warrington.
The Oasis Centre works to improve wellbeing and opportunities for local people through life skills programmes, health initiatives and community support. St Rocco’s Hospice provides specialist palliative care and support for people living with life-limiting illnesses and their families across Warrington and the surrounding area.
The challenge is being organised and undertaken by the David Wilson Homes North West team, and we’re delighted to share their efforts with the Birchwood Park community.
We’re also proud to be hosting the challenge from The Tipi at The Woodshed, our newest destination on the Park. The space has quickly become a hub for bringing people together, making it the perfect setting for a community-focused fundraising initiative like this.
If you would like to support the challenge and help the team reach their fundraising target, donations can be made via their fundraising page: https://givestar.io/gs/miles-that-matter–lands-end-to-dover-rowing-challenge-38580
