Cable Fault Emergency Works – Electricity North West

Following on from an issue with loss of power last weekend Electricity North West have been on Site this week investigating the fault.

As a result of the investigation emergency works need to take place to repair a faulty cable on Faraday Street.

Works will take place from Monday 17th March – Friday 21st March. Throughout the duration of the works there will be temporary traffic management in place as well as a pedestrian diversion. The map below indicates the affected area – highlighted in red.

We understand this is short notice however; the repairs need to be completed as a matter of urgency.

For the duration of the works there will be a temporary Bus Stop in place which will be installed Monday morning once the diversions are in place.
