Tenet Consultants returns to the saddle in support of Awyr Las
News 14 July 2026
A team of cyclists from Birchwood Park-based engineering consultancy Tenet Consultants is preparing to take on a charity bike ride between the company’s North Wales office at M-SParc and its headquarters at Birchwood Park, raising money for Awyr Las.
Following the success of last year’s challenge, seven members of the Tenet team will once again set off from M-SParc on Friday 17 July, travelling via Rhyl before arriving back at Birchwood Park on Saturday 18 July.
Taking part in this year’s ride are Rob Rowland, John Heslop, Ian Finch, Pat Mortell, Huw Brassington, Paul Lloyd and Huw Williams, supported by Craig Rogers, Chris Johnson and Mark Jones throughout the journey.
The challenge reflects Tenet’s ongoing commitment to supporting the communities in which it operates. As a business with offices in both Warrington and North Wales, the route also symbolises the strong connection between the two regions and the people who work across both locations.
Funds raised through the ride will support Awyr Las, helping to support healthcare services across North Wales, particularly the children’s departments.
Since moving to Birchwood Park, Tenet has continued to grow its engineering capability while remaining committed to community engagement, charitable initiatives and supporting local causes alongside its work across the nuclear sector.
The team welcomes any support, whether that’s cheering the cyclists on as they depart and return or making a donation to help Awyr Las continue its valuable work.
