Notes of Rich Molasses & Caramel
First created in 1975, this multi-region blend still serves as the foundation of our handcrafted espresso drinks in Starbucks stores around the world. The perfect melding of beans and roast reveals notes of rich molasses and a bold, caramelly sweetness—a flavour profile so incredible it’s never been changed. Delicious on its own or balanced with milk.
The expertise of our master coffee roaster comes into play at our London Roastery… ensuring that the flavour in the cup is the same incredibly high standard all year around. We achieve this by constantly checking and tweaking if needed our famous espresso blend recipe, creating the balance between acidity and the full rich flavour.
Crafted with care and intention, our Seasonal Espresso embodies the power of coffee to transform lives. This blend funds a meaningful project to build a kindergarten for 40 children in Guatemala, giving them a space to learn, grow, and thrive.
The Brazilian component of this blend comes from a single farm practising regenerative agriculture and proudly certified by the Rainforest Alliance. This ensures every bean is grown with care for the land, ecosystems, and the farmers who nurture it.

Volcano is a regional lot from Colombia that will be available year round. A really versatile bean, that works well as espresso, and as your favourite filter method. This washed Colombian regional lot, grown at 1,700-2,200 MASL, showcases a mix of regional varietals for a classic, comforting cup. Expect smooth notes of chocolate and caramel balanced with a bright mandarin sweetness, making a modern espresso.
Decaf – This Peruvian Swiss Water Decaf offers all the vibrant flavour of a premium Central American coffee without the caffeine. Naturally decaffeinated using the chemical-free Swiss Water Process, it delivers a smooth, sweet cup with notes of toasted marshmallow, condensed milk and plum.
Experience the lighter side of espresso—a soft, beautifully balanced flavour profile that pairs perfectly with milk (or your favourite non-dairy alternative). Made up of select Latin American and East African beans, this blend is carefully roasted to coax out sweet, vibrant notes of candied apple and bittersweet chocolate. The result is smooth, well-rounded and versatile, delicious served hot or over ice.
